Everything Just Changed
Babies doesn't just add to your life—they reshape everything. Your marriage, your budget, your schedule, your priorities, your sense of self. Suddenly you're facing decisions you never had to make before: Can we afford for one parent to stay home? How do we cover childcare costs without destroying our savings? What about college funds, life insurance, wills? And beyond the financial pressure, you're also navigating conflicting parenting values, different ideas about discipline and freedom, and the reality that your own upbringing is shaping how each of you parents—for better or worse.

Your marriage is under new strain too. You're figuring out how to divide household responsibilities, maintain intimacy when you're exhausted, and make joint decisions about raising a child when you might have different instincts. You're trying to fit a new life into your existing rhythms—Spiritual disciplines, socializing, travel, personal time—and wondering what has to give. Meanwhile, the financial decisions keep coming: spending on baby gear, saving for the future, and maybe adjusting to reduced income in a season that feels like pure chaos.

You can survive this season through sheer willpower and the advice of well-meaning friends—or you can be intentional about building the family God's called you to shepherd. Coaching provides the Biblical truth and practical tools to protect your marriage, align on parenting values, and make wise financial decisions during the most demanding season you'll face. This isn't about adding one more thing to your overwhelm—it's about preventing costly mistakes and building with purpose.

What to Expect
We'll begin by getting honest about where you actually are—spiritually, relationally, and financially. What does your faith look like now that life is chaos? How are you handling the strain on your marriage? What's your current financial reality with new costs (and possibly reduced income)? We'll also explore your parenting values, your ideas about discipline and freedom, and how you're trying to fit this precious new life into everything else—work, friends, travel, personal time.

Coaching runs 6-12 months, typically with monthly hour-long sessions. This won't be parenting advice about sleep training or feeding schedules—this is parenthood coaching that helps you navigate the spiritual challenges, relational strain, and financial pressures of this transition. By the end, you'll have strength in your marriage and faith, solidarity in how you're raising your child together, and stability in your finances and routines.

More importantly, we'll build the patterns that sustain you—protecting your marriage and faith rhythms, aligning on parenting values as challenges evolve, and sharing responsibilities in ways that strengthen rather than strain your partnership.
